FAQ

How much will my tattoo cost?

It depends on size, placement, and detail. Fill out the tattoo booking form below with a description of your idea and I'll email you a quote based on that, along with potential appointment dates.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A non-refundable deposit secures your appointment once we've agreed on a date. It comes off the final price of the tattoo.

Do I need to be 18 to get tattooed?

Yes. You'll be asked to confirm this when you submit a booking request.

Where are you currently tattooing?

Los Angeles, with regular guest spots in New York and other cities. Check the booking form below for the current availability window, it's kept up to date with the months I'm actively taking appointments and any plans for travel.

Can I send reference images with my request?

Yes, this helps me visualize what you have in mind for your tattoo. The booking form has an optional upload for design references and for photos of the area you want tattooed, drawing on top of the photo to show size and placement is useful, or indicate with a marker on your skin.

How do I actually book?

Click the Get a Quote section and fill out the form. I read through submissions a few times a week and reply by email with pricing and next steps asap. I appreciate your patience and interest!

Aftercare

Traditional Healing Process

First 24–48 Hours

Leave the bandage on for 2–4 hours (or as I tell you at your appointment). Wash your hands, then gently clean the tattoo with lukewarm water and unscented antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a paper towel, don't rub.

Daily Care (First 2 Weeks)

Wash twice a day, pat dry, apply a thin layer of fragrance-free lotion or aftercare balm. Don't overdo the lotion, it needs to breathe. Never pick, scratch, or peel scabs, let them fall off on their own.

Avoid for 2–3 Weeks

Direct sunlight, swimming or soaking (pools, hot tubs, baths, showers are fine), heavy sweating, tight clothing or friction on the area, and other people or pets touching it.

Long-Term

Once healed, use SPF 30+ any time it's in the sun, this keeps linework and color sharp for years.

Second Skin Healing

Wearing the Bandage

If you've been sent home with a second skin (Saniderm-style) bandage, leave it on for 3–5 days. It's waterproof, so you can shower normally, just avoid soaking, scrubbing, or picking at the edges.

What's Normal

Some fluid, ink, or plasma pooling under the bandage in the first day or two is normal, this is your body healing. If it's leaking heavily from the edges or lifting significantly, remove it early and switch to the traditional aftercare routine.

Removing It

Remove in a warm shower, peeling slowly and low to the skin in the direction of hair growth. Never rip it off. Warm water helps loosen the adhesive.

After Removal

Once the bandage is off, wash gently with unscented soap and switch to the daily care routine above, lotion twice a day, no soaking, no direct sun until fully healed.

Let's make magick.
